리에스(1880.1.22~1956.2.28) 헝가리의 수학자. 함수해석학의 개척자로 유명하다. 1914년 클루지대학 교수, 45년 부다페스트대학 교수로 취임하였다. 리스 피셔의 정리(1907)에 의해서 초기 양자론 분야에 공헌하였고, 에르고드 이론, 반순서(半順序) 벡터공간 이론, 위상기하학 등의 분야에도 공헌하였다. 주요저서에 《Le뛬ns d’analyse fonctionnelle》이 있다.
